This NEW 25th Anniversary Production is a powerful and stirring reinvention of the Riverdance show...touring 45 cities in the USA during 2020, including Minneapolis!  Riverdance is a theatrical show consisting mainly of traditional Irish music and dance. It was set to showcase Ireland's rich culture to the world. One of the main features of Riverdance is the way dancers maintain a rigid upper body and keep their arms by their side whilst dancing.  One story is that the Irish dancers where brought to dance for the Queen of England.  These dancers refused to raise their arms to her and kept them rigidly by their sides out of defiance.  OR the Church did not want boys and girls to hold hands, so to stop this they made them hold their arms by their side.  Whichever  story is true, they came to dance with arms straight, it remains today, and helps make traditional Irish dance so distinctive.  Join us at the State Theatre for this amazing show!
Includes: Motorcoach, 2:00pm Matinee, Tour Director.
