Duluth & North Shore

Begin your summer of 2019 exploring the beauty and history of Duluth and the Minnesota North Shore on this two-day excursion.  To fully experience Duluth, our overnight hotel will be in Duluth's' Canal Park - just steps away from the Aerial Lift Bridge, Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, S.S. William A. Irvin Ore Boat Museum, Great Lakes Aquarium, and many unique shops and restaurants.  We will experience the waters of Lake Superior with a Duluth Harbor Cruise, the beauty of  the North Shore with  a guided tour of  Split Rock Lighthouse, and history of Duluth during the 20th Century on our  Glensheen Mansion tour.

Jasper Theater & Northern Lights
Wednesday-Thursday July 10-11   *   $159 per person DBL
Enjoy the talented Jasper Family as we are entertained by four generations of Jasper's through music, magic, comedy, dance, and gospel in a 2 hour fun-filled   variety show for all ages!  Prior to the show, we will stop for lunch (on own) in Dorset MN - dubbed the "Restaurant Capital of the World".  Population of 22, Dorset has three restaurants in their small town!  Our overnight stay will be the Northern Lights Hotel & Casino in Walker.  On our way home, we will shop the quaint northern Minnesota city of Nisswa, famous for their summer turtle races.  
Northern Lights Casino Package:  $50 slot play, $3 off meal.  *Score 30 points by midnight and receive an additional $50 slot play.

Mississippi River Cruise

What better way to enjoy those lazy, warm days of summer, then a Mississippi River Cruise!  Aboard the Cellebration Belle, we will experience the magic of the Mighty Mississippi from Dubuque IA to Moline IL.  The rich history, scenic views, wildlife, and Captain's narration will make this a cruise to remember.  Breakfast, Lunch and  their famous Prime Rib Dinner Buffet is included, so you won't go away hungry.  To complete this 3 day trip, stops will also be made in: Lanesboro MN - center of the Amish community; John Deere Pavilion, Moline IL - explore the history and "hands-on" experience of John Deere machines; and Amana IA  - center of the seven villages that make up the Amana Colonies.

Mackinac Island
Monday-Thursday August 19-22   *   $699 per person DBL
Mackinac Island is an unique experience where transportation is by horse & buggy, bicycle or by foot.  No motorized vehicles are allowed and there are fudge shops on every corner based on recipes from the 19th Century!!  After crossing the Mighty Mac Bridge, we'll take a ferry ride to Mackinac Island for our overnight stay.  Time is yours to enjoy a stroll down Main Street, visit the Butterfly House, rent bicycles and pedal around the island OR hike around the island by foot, travel back in time at Fort Mackinac, take a Mackinac Island Taxi via Horse & Buggy - the options are endless!  We'll hear the history of the island on our Mackinac Island Carriage Tour, with wonderful narration throughout our journey through the Mackinac State Park, visits to Surry Hills and Arch Rock. We will end our tour at the Grand Hotel, atop the highest point of the island, where we will enjoy the legendary Grand Hotel Luncheon Buffet - a one of a kind experience!

Fall Black Hills & Deadwood

What a refreshing time to visit South Dakota in the early fall.  This great tour offers you our country's history of the Wild West in yesteryear.  Our stay will included three nights accommodations in the lively town of Deadwood.  Enjoy an informational Deadwood tour that highlights life in the 1800's during the gold rush years, the interesting deaths of Wild Bill Hickok & Calamity Jane, including a visit to Mount Moriah Cemetery where they are buried.  Experience the beauty of the Black Hills, wild-west town of Keystone, majestic Mount Rushmore Monument, Crazy Horse Memorial (including a base tour), and a local South Dakota Winery, during our full day adventure of the Black Hills.  Also includes stop at the infamous Wall Drug - still serving 5c coffee and FREE ice-cold water!
